Lit Lab: our Ikigai

In Japan, there is a concept called Ikigai where doing what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for, all intersect. It’s referenced as the framework to finding what makes life worth living and is so immersive that time becomes irrelevant.

I planned Lit Lab for three years before finally opening my beloved shop / atelier in 2019. My goal is for you to experience fragrance as a portal to your most cherished memories. This is my Ikigai. 

I'm very excited to share with you the launch of the Lit Lab blog, which will delve into my favorite things: Smells, Sustainability, Design, and Berlin. Oh, and of course candles.
